Everyday is an Adventure
Isn't this camper just adorable? When I saw the set I knew I wanted to make a card with the sleeping bear on top of the camper. I knew this scene would be a little busy (for me) so I decided to use teal as my only non Earth-tone color.
For the greens, I used lighter more vibrant shades to make the card happier. I colored in a flower pot originally, but didn't end up using it in the final card.
For the background I did some simple distress oxide blending to set the sky and the ground. To match the teal in the trailer, I used Broken China over Antique Linen and added some splatter. And for the grass I used Rustic Wilderness over Bundled Sage.
For the sentiment, I embossed white on black so it would pop on the card. It would be quite the adventure to find a bear on top of your camper after all!
Finally I glued everything onto the card and propped up the bear and trailer for some dimension. I really like how this card turned out and hope you do too!
