Oceans of love with Olga
Hello friends! This is Olga Moss and today is my first time here. I want to say that I am very happy and I hope we will have fun together!
Today I 'm sharing a card featuring awesome Under the Sea stamp set.
I started by stamping all the images using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad. I colored them using Copic Markers and cut them out (coordinating dies available here). I added some highlights using white gel pen.
I wanted to give several places for me to place the various under the water sea creatures and a submarine. So I used the homemade waves stencil to ink blended several layers. I used there Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. To create the upper part of the underwater world I blended Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink. Additionally, I sprinkled drops of watercolor on top.
I wanted to put the under the water sea creatures in a circle so that it would look like what you can see if you look from a submarine in periscope. So I made a little shaker. To do this, I glued seven layers of circle frames to get a container for the shaker. This, in my opinion, is the easiest and fastest way to make a shaker.
Finally, I mounted the shaker and images on the background panel. Lastly, I added the sentiment on a tiny stripe of the cardstock.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
I hope you had fun and feel inspired by the card I’ve shared with you today!
Have a wonderful day!
