Happy Birthday Little Monster

Hello friends! I have the cutest card to share today using Pawsome Stamp's Monster Party stamp set. Wouldn't this be perfect for the little monster in your life?

For my images, I used a mix of Copics and Ohuhus and kept the color scheme simple and bright.

Then I ink blended a background on a simple die cut with stitched borders using distress oxides in Cracked Pistachio, Faded Jeans, and Black Soot.

I wanted a darker background behind the monsters so they would pop and a lighter color at the bottom so I could stamp a sentiment using black ink.

I also added some texture using first water to lift up some ink then Faded Jeans to add back some splatter.

For the "little monster" part of the sentiment, I embossed white on black cardstock and fussy cut it out leaving a uniform border around the words.

For the final assembly, I adhered my inked die cut to a white card front and propped up the monsters for dimension. Then I glued the stars peeking out from behind the monsters and glued the "little monster" sentiment under the "Happy Birthday."

Thanks for visiting and I hope you like my card!
