Cupcakes and Words
Sometimes, simple is the way to go. Actually for me, that's ALWAYS
the way to go. I like to make cards and LOTS of them in the short
amount of time that I have to craft, so the cards need to be quick and
easy. What's more simple than sentiments in the background and a
colored focal point? I hope you like these card ideas as much as I do!
Supplies:
Spooky Cupcakes Stamp set
Just Sentiments: Fall Favorites stamp set
Just Sentiments: Basic 1 stamp set
I
stamped and colored my cupcakes with some alcohol markers. Based on
the coloring, I chose cardstock that coordinated with the cupcakes for
the background panels. Taking the sentiment, I placed it in my stamping
platform and stamped it in a coordinating ink. I moved the cardstock
panel up (or down) within the stamping platform a few grid lines each
time to make an evenly spaced sentiment column. In my case, I moved my
panel 2 1/2 grid lines up or down.
Then
the rest is just assembly! I heat embossed a smaller sentiment on black
cardstock to add a sub-sentiment to the card. This can be a great
layout for so many of your cards.
