CAS Monster Cards

Sometimes when you have such cute images all you need is a simple background to make a cute card.
Kelly here using Monster Party for my 2 cards
To start off I grabbed some rough textured watercolor cardstock and added alot of water to it. Then I used Peacock Feathers reinker and dropped it into the water on the cardstock. So easy. I moved it around with the paintbrush.
Then while that dried I stamped my monster onto 110lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo black. I colored it with copics BV11,BV13,BV04 snd black Glaze Gelly roll pen for the spots.
I added glossy accents to the horns, arms & legs. And googlie eyes for the eyes.
I then stamped my sentiment. I used "Grateful" from Pawsome Stamps Fall Favorites stamp set & Monster Hugs from Monster Party and combined them into a stacked sentiment.
I propped my image & sentiments up on foam tape and adhered it to my cardbase. And added some black gelly roll glaze pen for some specific splatter.
For my 2nd card I did a similar technique.
I used Distress Watercolor paper this time and I made the wet on wet area smaller. I used Distress reinkers in Kitch flamingo, Twisted Citron & Peacock feathers and did a LIGHT splatter too. Set that side to dry.
I stamped my sweet lil monster the same way as before and colored him with similar colors as my background with Copic markers & die cut him out. I also added glossy accents to his horns, eyes, teeth and spots. Propped him up on foam tape as well as my sentiment. I added some clear liquid drops and set it aside to dry.
These 2 cards were so easy and fun to make.  All you need is adorable images like Monster Party and your all set!
Thanks for stopping by & will see you next time.❤
