Beary Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hey everyone, Britney here! I am so excited to be on the Pawsome Stamps blog today featuring items from past and present releases. I hope you had a very Merry Christmas. I always like to start with my background first, especially since I knew I wanted to use stencil paste and needed to let it dry. I used a blender brush to add a light green color to my base panel and use stitched rectangle die to cut it to the size of an A2 card. I used a smaller stitched rectangle die for the pink panel. I really like to add stitching wherever I can on cards. I spread on some pearl stencil paste using the Snowflake Flurries Background Stencil. I sprayed on pixie spray to keep the paste from getting under my stencil. I sat all this to the side while I worked on my images and the inside of my card.

Stamping an image and sentiment on the inside finishes the card off nicely. It is easier to stamp an image and/or sentiment on the inside of the card before adhering the card panel to the base. The bulk of the foam tape can make it difficult to get a good impression using a Misti Stamping tool. I stamped the inside of the card using images from Coffee Besties and a sentiment from Beary Christmas.

I used the Misti Stamping Tool and a Copic-friendly ink to stamp images onto a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. Use your favorite color medium to color in the images. I prefer Copics usually. You can fussy cut the images or use the coordinating dies. Since I masked the antlers of the bear, I fussy cut the bear. I finished off my images using a white gel pen to add some accents.

I used a strong liquid adhesive to glue all of my panels to the card base. To complete the front panel of the card, lay out images to determine perfect placement and I attached my images with foam tape.  I white heat embossed a sentiment from Coffee Besties on vellum. Adhering vellum can be tricky. I used my Xyron Sticker Maker to add adhesive to my vellum. I added black glaze pen to the eyes and glossy accents to the nose to give the face some shine.

I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed making it. Have a wonderful day and make sure to check out all the goodies in the Pawsome Stamps shop
