Enjoy the sweet life

Natalia with you here today and I have a card full of sweetness for you! 

I am in love with this set: Sweet Cupcakes, and I'll tell you why; it has SOOO many images and beautiful sentiments, the possibilities are many!

I started of by stamping and colouring my images. I used my ohuhu alcohol markers and decided to stay to a limited colour palette of pinks, reds and tans. I don't usually go for these colours but the background called for these. 

I have re-discovered my Glossy Accents lately and seem to put them on many of my images again! I love how it brings them to life and gives that extra dimension. 

For the cake stand, I used some beige cardstock and gold embossing powder. Isn't it delicate and pretty? 

I decided to keep the background simple so I used one of the nested rectangle dies from Waffle Flower and splattered some white gouache and pearlescent watercolour paint.  

Lastly, I used some Concord & 9th coloured cardstock and matching ink for the sentiment on a beige cardstock strip. And of course the images are all mounted on double sided foam tape for dimension!

This completes my card for today and I hope you like it and it inspires you to create!
