I'd Pick You

Hello friends! Welcome back to the blog. Today, I have an adorable card for you using elements from a few of the sets in the brand new release.

I first started by stamping the bear from the "Hoppy Easter" set with a very light ink onto my favorite white cardstock. This will enable me to have a no line color look. Copic markers were used to color the bear. They were: E37, E35, E33, E31 and R00. I did add some extra detail, depth and color with a dark brown pencil. The image was then fussy cut (dies are available here).

I stamped the daisy and leaf images from the "Oopsy Daisy" set again with light ink and colored with Copic markers. I used C1 and C0 for the "white" petals then Y11 and Y15 for the centers. To add more depth and separation of the petals, I used a black pencil in the nooks and crannies. The leaves were colored with YG03 and YG17. The flowers and leaves were cut out and set aside.

Using an A2 panel of yellow cardstock, I ink blended Mustard Seed Distress Oxide through the "Rays of Sunshine" stencil. The size of this stencil is amazing and can be used for so many different styles of cards. I chose my sentiment from the "Little Lady" set and stamped it in a rich black ink onto my background. The bear and flowers were adhered with liquid glue and foam tape for dimension. For a touch of sparkle, "Hello Sunshine" sequins were added. The finished panel was adhered to an A2 white card base.

I hope you enjoyed the card for today. It would be a great little pick me up for anyone at anytime. Have a fantastic day!

~Meg
