Hi everyone! Thanks for checking in on the blog today.

I have a fun edge to edge shaker card using the Oopsy Daisy stamp set. I love how versatile this is with the different sentiments. You can always combine this with other sets too.

I cut a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock to 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches and ink blended Distress Oxide ink in: Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Rustic Wilderness. I then added some splatters of water mixed with Perfect Pearls for a little bit of sparkle. I set aside my panel to dry while I worked on my other card elements.

I stamped the daisy, leaf, and stem images in black ink onto my favorite Copic paper. The markers I used were: C0, C1, Y11, Y15, G07, and G05. I then restamped the images to get a nice dark outline. They were then fussy cut. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto matching green cardstock and die cut using a banner shape.

To make the shaker, I first cut down the dryed ink blended panel to 4 by 5 1/4. I added strong double sided tape to the back and adhered recycled packaging around the panel adhering to the back. One side was left open so Captivating Cactus sequins could be added. This side was then closed and the panel was adhered to an A2 top folding white card base.

The flower elements were added to the front acetate using double sided tape and a bit of foam tape for dimension. I find that the double sided tape holds better (and quicker) than trying to use liquid glue. The sentiment strip was added to the bottom of the panel using foam tape. I also added just a bit of detail to the flowers using a Gelly Roll gold pen to the flower middles and white pen to the leaves.

I hope you enjoyed my card for you today! Have a great and crafty day!
