Rainbow bamboo wreath

Hello, crafty friends!

It is Natalia from @cardsmadebynatalia with you here today.

I am a big panda lover, so this set is one of my favourite! It's the Playful Pandas stamp and coordinating dies set.

I started off by preparing my front A2 panel. I used a stencil with some spun sugar distress oxide lightly just to give it a bit of colour.

I then stamped the bamboos on white cardstock multiple times. I will admit, I have LOTS leftover as I didn't know how many I would need for my rainbow wreath! But that is absolutely fine, they will get used in the next card I am sure!

I then wanted some extra dimension and detail, so I stamped some bamboos with my embossing ink onto vellum and used Lime Ricky and Palm WOW! embossing powders. That shine, I can never get enough.

Once my bamboos were ready, I stamped and coloured the cute little panda. I couldn't resist but add some stickles to the heart... what did I say about shinny things?

After having coloured all the stamps, I used a white gel pen to add highlights to my images. This step is very simple, and to me, so effective!

I used sticky foam pads under all elements to adhere the images to the card panel. For the vellum bamboos, I used liquid glue to stick them to the back of the colourful ones.

The last thing to do was stamp the sentiment onto some black cardstock and use white embossing powder on it. I debated the sentiment placement but ended up deciding it was too much going on in the middle of the card. Do you sometimes struggle right at the end when everything but the sentiment is ready?

And this completes my card! I hope you like it and it inspires you to create. I will be posting a reel with the process over at Pawsome's and mine IG accounts tomorrow, keep an eye out for it!

Sending hugs,

Natalia
