Tweet birthday wishes
I started off by stamping the bird houses onto white cardstock using WOW! embossing ink. I then used white embossing powder and heat set it.
The next step was to bring the houses to live by giving them so colour! I decided on ink blending as opposed to markers, just for a change. I used the following distress oxide inks, as shown on the card: wild honey, squeezed lemonade, ripe persimmon, kitsch flamingo, broken china, tumbled glass, lucky clover and cracked pistachio. How beautiful are rainbows?!
I then coloured the little birdies with my Ohuhu and added white highlights with a gel pen. It is hard to see in the photos, but the base card is beige and the frame die cut is white! I have now discovered beige as a cardstock colour and I am a big fan of the beige-white combination!
To finish it off, I used some Pawsome sequins to match the cute houses - I went for: Hello Sunshine, Camp Fire, Cotton Candy, Blue Skies and Captivating Cactus - these are all sooo gorgeous! I suggest you check them out.
This concludes my card for today, I hope you like it and there will be a reel on my IG account soon.
Sending hugs,
Natalia
