Thank you for your kindness

Hello Friends! It's Carol here today and I'm sharing the type of card that we all need in our stash, a thank you card. You just never know when you may need to send a quick thank you and the sweet stamps from the latest release help with just that!

For this card, I used the Oopsy Daisy stamp set for my main floral image. I stamped all the flowers using black ink then I pulled out my colored pencils and Gamsol. I rarely use my colored pencils but every time I do, I tell myself I should use them more often! I colored the flowers then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I set those aside and used the Rays of Sunshine stencil as an embossing folder. Have you tried that technique before? You just run your stencil through your die cut machine similar to the way you would emboss and the stencil presses into your cardstock giving you a raised impression.

It's a little tricky to see in the photo, but IRL, it looks Amazing! I decided to do a little ink blending on my embossed image to bring it out just a little more. After that, I adhered my daisies and added my sentiment from the same set. Once I had that complete, I realized my card needed a little something extra so I stamped, colored and die cut three butterflies from the Spring Day stamp set. I absolutely love that set because there are so many images that can be used for many different occasions!

I also added a few sequins to finish off the card. I just think this card is so sweet and perfect for a little thank you note. Be sure to stop by the Shop to check out all of the fun products from this release.
