Under the water gel press card

Hello, crafty friends!

It is Natalia with you here today. I hope you are having a wonderful week.

I bet you are loving the new Pawsome release, just like I am! Sooo many ideas and possibilities.

Today's card features the Birthday Fishes stamp set and die cuts. Let's dive into the details! (do you see what I did there??)

I started off by creating my background using my Gel Press. Confession: This was the first ever background I have created using this technique - and I am HOOKED! I really enjoyed the process and how many beautiful backgrounds you can create in a short space of time.

After that, I trimmed the panel down to 4x5.25" and I used a bubbles layered stencil to create the bubbles effect. I applied white hero arts ink on the first layer and Nuvo Glimmer paste on the top layer. I love the effect!

If you saw my IG hop post, you'd notice I also used the gel press technique, but then an embossing folder on top.

I next stamped and coloured the images, using my alcohol ink Ohuhu markers. I did a bit of dot colouring as well which I think looks so fun! I added some white highlights with a gel pen.

For the sentiment, I decided to use white embossing powder directly onto the background. I repeated the process twice for a really nice and crisp finish.

Finally, I added some of the Ocean Breeze sequins - I do struggle to finish off a card with no embellishments, I know!

And that completes my card! I will post a reel on IG soon showing you the process.

I hope you like it and it inspires you to create!

Sending hugs,

Natalia
