Let's celebrate you!

Hello my sweet friends! Silvia’s here today with a rainbow birthday card!

I started cutting a 5,5”x4,25” panel from white mixed media cardstock and I inked it using a brayer and (from top to buttom) picked raspberry, kitsch flamingo, squeezed lemonade, mowed lawn, broken china and prize ribbon Distress Oxide inks. I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold acrylic paints.

I then added some texture applying some crackle paste through a heart stencil, I covered it with different colors of Distress Embossing Glazes and I let it dry before melting the embossing powders.

I stamped images from the "Bday Cupcake" and "Picture Pals" stamp sets, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies (you can find them here and here).

I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape, I added a heat embossed sentiment and that's all.
