Always in Bloom

 Hi crafty friends! It’s Donna, and I’m so excited to share my first post on the Pawsome Stamps blog. For my project today, I created a friendship card featuring Oopsy Daisy Stamp set.  

I stamped and colored all of the images with Copic Markers in the following color combinations.

Copic Marker Combination

Pink: RV17, RV55, RV52
Center: E35, E33, Y35
Green: YG67, YG17, YG03, YG01

For the background, I used a piece of teal cardstock and ink blended the edges with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink, leaving the center untouched. Lately, I’ve been reaching more for colored cardstock for my ink-blended backgrounds. I love the look, and ink blending on colored cardstock saves time and effort.

Next, I added texture to the background with a scripty background stamp and splatters from white diluted acrylic paint.

To finish my card, I embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock, trimmed around the sentiment, and added all of the elements to my panel.
