Kindness Blooms

Hi everyone! I am so happy to be back on the Pawsome Stamps Blog. Today, I have a very soft floral card using 2 different sets. Let's get to the good stuff and check out the card.

I started with a panel of white cardstock and stamped the pitcher from the "Sangria Time" set with black Copic safe ink. I added just a bit of color to the pitcher using markers: C1, BG10 and BG11. This panel was trimmed down to 3 3/4 by 5 inches and set aside. I stamped the flowers from the "Oopsy Daisy" set and colored them using: C1, R22, R11, Y11, Y13, Y15, G21 and G12. I absolutely love the soft pink color with the gorgeous aqua blue.

After the flowers were colored, I fussy cut them and added them to the "vase" using liquid glue and foam tape for dimension. I decided not to use the stems included in the kit. I thought that I would have a bit more control if I drew them. I added the stems using a micron pen and added just a bit of color using a marker. I added the white panel to the aqua blue cardstock that was A2 in size. For the sentiment, I stamped it in black pigment ink onto the same aqua cardstock, added clear embossing powder and heat set. This was directly adhered to the panel using liquid adhesive.

For a final touch, "Georgia Peach" sequins were added throughout the flower blooms. The finished panel was adhered to an A2 top folding white card base.

I love mixing and matching multiple sets. The daisies and pitcher seemed to be a perfect fit! Thanks for joining me and have a fantastic day!
