Hi everyone! How are you enjoying the new release? Isn't it the cutest?! I absolutely love the candy corn all dressed up. "Hauntingly Sweet" is definitely one of my favorite sets. I decided to use it today along with another set to create a spooky fun card. Let's check it out!

I started with an A2 panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock. It makes ink blending so easy. Plus, it can hold up to a good amount of water. I ink blended Distress Oxides in Black Soot, Villainous Potion, and Twisted Citron going darkest to lightest. I added the "Chunky Sweater" stencil over the panel and used a wet baby wipe to lighten the areas making a fun effect. Perfect Pearls were also splattered onto the panel. It was then set aside to dry.

The bat candy corns were stamped onto my favorite white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The colors I used were: C9, C7, C5, YG03, YG11, BV04, and BV08. I wanted a little bit more of a spooky feel, so I used the tree branch from the "Tweet Birdie" set. I simply stamped the branch onto black cardstock and heat embossed using white powder. The tree branches and bats were cut out and set aside.

My ink blended panel was finally dry so I was able to heat emboss the sentiment in the middle with embossing ink and white powder. I adhered the branches and bats using liquid glue and foam tape on the closest bat for dimension. A few sequins from the "Black Magic" mix were added to the bottom for a final touch. The finished panel was added to a top folding card base.

I hope that you enjoyed this spooky sweet card today. I always like thinking out of the box by mixing up sets. Have a great day!
