Bewitching Potions!

Hi friends!
Jean here.  Today I’m back with you sharing a clean and simple card featuring the Witches Lair and Witches Lair Add-on stamp sets and coordinating dies from the latest release!

For this card, I started out by creating my background panel.  I masked off the bottom third of the panel with Post-It removable tape and ink-blended the top half, going a little darker in the middle and fading out to white at the edges.

With the mask still in place, splattered the panel with some diluted black and white acrylic paint and set it aside to dry.

While the panel was drying, I stamped all my images using Copic-friendly ink and then colored them in with my Copic markers.

I added Glossy Accents to the middle of each of the bottles to give them the illusion of liquid.  It’s hard to see in the photos so here’s a close-up picture to give you the idea:

Once my panel was dry,  I removed the Post-It mask and heat embossed my sentiment in the bottom part of the panel.  I trimmed the panel and popped it up on my card front using foam adhesive.

I arranged my potion bottles on the shelves, then popped those up using foam adhesive for even more dimension.

And lastly, I added some sequins from the Mint Chip sequin mix to give the card a little more sparkle and make the liquid potions stand out.

I hope you like this card and I’m so glad you stopped by the blog today!  I hope you’ll check out the Shop for all of the latest goodies!  And, for even more inspiration, visit us on Instagram: @pawsomestamps  @jean.studiojd
