Cue The Confetti

Hello friends! Today, I wanted to do something really fun and bright... which usually leads me to making rainbows. I just love all the colors and it always seems so happy to me. Rainbows help me when I am in a creative funk because you can rainbow almost anything (eg background stamps, stencils, images etc). Next time you are stuck try a rainbow. Maybe it will help!

I started with my favorite white cardstock for blending and added the Rays of Sunshine stencil on top. Various rainbow inks were blended through the stencil. When I was done with the first set of colors, I offset the stencil and added a small light beam. A gold glitter gel pen was used on the sides of the beams but is a bit hard to see in the pictures. In person it adds a nice hint of sparkle.

I added double sided tape to the back of the panel and adhered recycled packaging to 3 of the sides. I left the 4th side open to add various sequins including the Hello Sunshine sequin mix. I then sealed the side for an edge to edge shaker panel. The shaker was added to a dark gray A2 card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Puffy Birthday Greetings with black pigment ink and heat embossed using a glittery black embossing powder. It was then fussy cut and added to the shaker. At this point, I thought it needed a bit more so I stamped and colored a panda from the Playful Pandas set. He/She looks so cute like they are almost stepping up from the colorful background. Using the confetti sentiment, this card could be used for a birthday, congratulations or celebration!

I hope you enjoyed this bright little card today. Until next time!
