Hauntingly Sweet Halloween

Hi crafty friends, I hope your week is off to a great start, and you’re enjoying some cooler weather where you are. Here in Florida, we had a couple of “cold” days, but anything below the ’70s is considered cold to me!

This card sort of evolved from a different idea, but I love how it came together by combining several stamps and die sets from the Pawsome Stamps shop.

To start the card, I stamped images from Hauntingly Sweet, Happy Haunting, and Picture Perfect stamps, then colored the images with my Copic Markers.

Copic Color Combinations

Bat: N9, N7, N5, N3, N1, N0
Frankeinstein: YG67, YG17, YG03, YG01, YG00, N7, N5
Cat: N3, N1, N0
Cheeks: R22, R20
Ghosts: C1, C0, BG00

I began with a standard slimline background that I ink blended with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide inks. I added some black splatters to the background and arranged the images. Once I had the picture frames arranged, I felt like something was missing, and this is where the card took a turn.

I tried arranging the images differently and taking some away, but still, it felt off. So, I just added a piece of cardstock to extend my slimline card. I added the sentiment at the bottom, which I white heat embossed and adhered my images with foam adhesive. And voila, the hauntingly sweet card is done!

I hope you have a fabulous week ahead!

Happy crafting,
