Hauntingly Sweet Treat Tags

Hi Everyone!  Jean here with you today and I am so excited to share these sweet little tags I created using the adorable Hauntingly Sweet Stamp Set and coordinating dies.

Halloween is just around the corner and I couldn’t resist creating some cute little treat tags to put on the little candy boxes and bags I’ll be giving a few of the kids in our neighborhood.

For these tags you don’t need any special dies!  I cut the tags our of white cards stock 2 inches x 3 inches.  I added colored cardstock in stripes or grass to the bottom of each, and a wider piece across the top.  I then used a corner rounder to round the corners at the top.  I used a hole punch to create a place for the string.

Once the tags were ready, I used black pigment ink with clear embossing powder to heat emboss the sentiment.

With the tags ready, I moved on to stamping and coloring the little costumed candy corn images from the set.  I stamped each using Copic-friendly ink and colored them with my Copic markers.  I then cut them out using the coordinating dies.

I popped the critters up on the tag using foam adhesive just for a bit more dimension.

I then tied the tags to treat boxes (I used a pillow box die from my stash but you could use a bag, a box, or even just tie them directly to a candy bar – trust me, the kids won’t mind a bit)!

I love these tags because they are so easy to make and they add that little something extra to the candy I give out on Halloween.
