Cozy Holiday Season
Hi crafty friends, I hope you are enjoying the inspiration with the newly released stamps and dies on the Pawsome Stamps blog. Today, I’m sharing a scene card featuring UglySweater and Cozy Fireplace stamp sets.
I knew I wanted to build a holiday-inspired scene card and add many images from both stamp sets. To accommodate all of the images, I decided to create a 5 x 7 card panel. I started by stamping the images and coloring everything in with my Copic Markers.
Copic Color Combinations
Koala: W7, W5, W3, W1
Brown Bear: E44, E43, E42, E41
Tree: YG01, YG03, YG23, YG17, YG67
Wreath and Garland: YG01, YG23, YG17, YG67, G28
Fireplace: R59, R57, R37, R24, R05
Wood: E55, E57, E74, E79
Fire: Y38, Y15
Inner part of the fireplace: N5, N3, N1, Y13
Clock: E27, E25, E23
Candle: Y38, Y02, C3, C1
Blue: B29, B66
Light Green: YG01, YG07
Light Red: R24, R29
For the background, I ink-blended a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock with Festive Berries, Candied Apple, Fired Brick, and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. Next, I added texture by stamping a general small polka dot background with white pigment ink.
I stamped the sentiment and embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I arranged my holiday scene and glued the images with glue dots and liquid adhesive. I finished off the card by adding a few highlights with my gel pen.
