Glory to the newborn King
Hi there! Silvia's here with one more Christmas card for you today.
I started cutting two panels from white cardstock. I ink blended the center of the first one with tattered rose, saltwater taffy and lumberjack plaid Distress Oxide inks (I can't stop making pink backgrounds this Christmas!!!) and I splattered with clean water.
I then stamped some images from the beautiful "Newborn King" stamp set directly on my inked base with black Versfine ink, except for the star that I heat embossed in gold.
I let it dry and I splattered with tone on tone inks and white and gold Distress paints.
Next I used the second panel to cut two scalloped borders and I glue them on the top and bottom of my card.
I heat embossed the sentiment in gold, I splattered the two white borders with gold paint and that's all.
Here are two close-ups.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you like the card.
I wish you a magical Christmas and a very happy New Year, full of joy, love and happiness!
Big hugs, Silvia.
