Ugly Sweater Pattern Card

Hi friends! Today I am sharing a pattern card I created using the Ugly Sweater stamp set. I am a huge fan of pattern cards and thought one with ugly sweaters would be super cute!

This card is a simple one layer card. I started off by stamping the fun sentiment about 1/3 of the way down an A2 card front. Next I stamped the various sweaters around the card and made sure to space them out so the card design still looked balanced.

To fill in the gaps between the sweaters, I used the small stamps from the same set -- the small gift, the 2 stars, and a candy cane. I did use a ruler and black pen to draw the ribbon going down the side of the gift so it would have a little extra color. (The bigger gift in the set does have the ribbon going all the way down the side, but I didn't end up using that one for this card.)

Finally I colored the images using a mix of Copics and Ohuhus(O), and finished it off with some highlight using a white gel pen.

Red: R24, 32, 30

Pink: R30, 000

Green: GY7(O), GY172(O)

Yellow: YR20

Brown: E42, 42, 40

Gray: N1, C0
