You're my bam-boo

Hi crafty friends and Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  I’m super excited to continue designing for Pawsome Stamps and share my first card.

For this card, I created a fun nighttime scene featuring Playful Pandas. This card can be given to a special someone or a good friend.

First, I stamped, colored, and die-cut the images. Then, I began working on the background.

 

Pandas: 100, N7, N5, E51, E50, Blender
Bamboo: G28, YG25, YG11
Heart: RV09, RV25, RV14

 

I used a piece of purple cardstock slightly trimmed down and added ink around the edges for a little shading. To give the panel more interest, I splattered it with white paint and set it aside to dry.

 

While my panel was drying, I created the grounding elements with black and gray cardstock for the mountains and inked a piece of green cardstock for the grass.

 

Lastly, I stamped, and heat embossed the sentiment, then arranged my stamped images with foam adhesive or glue dots.
