You Are Eggceptional!

Hey everyone, Britney here! I am so excited to be on the Pawsome Stamps blog today featuring the Eggceptional set! I think this card is so cute. I think I am going to have to remake this card for my son for Easter.

I always like to start with my background first and I build up from there. I used stitched rectangle dies to cut the panels for this card. The “middle” panel being a light piece of yellow card stock. I used the Rays of Sunshine Background Stencil to ink on a darker yellow ink. I wanted the card to look similar to a basket full of eggs. I used the Misti Stamping Tool and a Copic-friendly ink to stamp images onto a piece of heavy weight smooth white cardstock. Use your favorite color medium to color in the images. I prefer Copics usually. You can fussy cut the images or use the coordinating dies. For this card, I fussy cut the top edge of the panel.

Stamping an image and sentiment on the inside finishes the card off nicely. It is easier to stamp an image and/or sentiment on the inside of the card before adhering the card panel to the base. The bulk of the foam tape can make it difficult to get a good impression using a Misti Stamping tool. I stamped the inside of the card with an images and sentiment are from the Eggceptional and Macarons stamp sets.

I popped my image panel up with foam tape. I finished off my images using white gel pen to add some accents. I love adding a lot of final details to a card to give it a little something extra. I added Nuvo Drops in White Blizzard to the centers of the flowers. I put glossy accents on the dots of the eggs.

I hope you enjoyed today's card. Have a wonderful day and make sure to check out all the goodies in the Pawsome Stamps shop
