I’m so grateful for you, MOM
Hi crafty friends and happy Tuesday! With Mother’s Day around the corner, I am sharing a bright and colorful Mother’s Day card for that special mom or mother figure in your life.
I began by stamping out the images, then using my Copic Markers to color everything in. I used Sending Hugs, Playful Panda stamps and dies, and a sentiment from Oopsy Daisy stamp set.
Pandas: N9, N7, N5, E50. Dot
texture E51, E53
Heart: RV17, RV55, RV52, RV00
Envelope: E51, E50, Blender
Blue Flowers: B23, B24, B28
Pink Flowers: RV17, RV55, RV52, RV00
Yellow Flowers: Y38, Y18, Y13, Y00
Large Leaves: YG13, YG25, YG17, YG67
Stems: G28
After coloring, I used the
coordinating dies to die-cut the images out and began working on the background.
For this card, I trimmed an
A2-sized panel with a stitched rectangle die, and ink blended the background using
several shades of teal dye ink. Next, I added white and teal splatters and set the panel aside to dry.
Using alphabet dies from my
stash, I created part of the sentiment using bright pink cardstock and then stamped
out the rest of the sentiment on a piece of pink cardstock. And lastly, I created
a grass hill from green cardstock inked at the edges for a little interest.
All that was left to do was
to adhere the elements to the background panel and add a few highlights with my
gel pen.
Thanks for joining me, and
have a wonderful week!
