Some Bunny Special Easter Basket Tags

Hi Crafty Friends! Emily here with you today and with Easter right around the corner I’m sharing two Easter Tags using the adorable Eggcellent Cupcake and Eggceptional (for the sentiments) Stamp Sets.

To get started, I stamped the Eggcellent Cupcake images with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink to Bristol Smooth Cardstock and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The clear heat embossing helps me water color in the lines :-)

Inspired by the Pawsome Stamps April 2023 Color Challenge, I water colored all of the images using a selection of Zig Clean Color Brush Markers in Pastel Hues: Pink Haze-201, Pale Pink-028, Sugar Almond Pink-200, Medium Beige-076, Pale Yellow-055, Pale Green-045, Green Shadow-049, Light Blue-036, Lilac-083, Cool Gray-099 (for the bunny).

I used a couple dies in my stash to create the pink/white and mint/white tags. To help “ground” the images to the tags, I brushed a little bit of Spun Sugar & Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink to the white tag backgrounds. Then I adhered all the cupcake images to the tags and added the sentiments from the Eggceptional stamp set. How cute are those bunny cupcakes!! To finish each of the tags, I tucked in the adorable bunny peeps that I coated with sugar—I mean Glitter Stickles.
