May Anniversary Release Sneak Peek Day 1: Colorful Chameleons

Hi Friends! Emily Mydlowski here with you today for Sneak Peek Day 1 of the May Anniversary Release featuring the new Chameleon 4x6 Stamp Set. 

The Chameleon stamp set has the cutest color shifting lizards and punny sentiments. For my card, I wanted to highlight the chameleon’s ability to change colors based on its background by blending the chameleon stamped images into a bright and cheerful rainbow background.

I started by ink blending the background to a white card panel with dye inks and blending brushes. Then stamped the two chameleon images in black ink and blended the “matching” rainbow blended ink colors to each of the chameleons and added white gel accents for dimension. 

I stamped the “You’re One in a Chameleon” sentiment to the bottom of a black cardstock panel with VersaMark Ink and white embossing powder. I added the black bottom panel to the rainbow background along with the chameleons with foam squares. I added matching rainbow sequins from the Spring Bling & Autumn Breeze Sequin Mixes for extra pop and and adhered the entire decorated panel to a striped patterned paper & card base.
