Spread your Beautiful Wings

Hi crafty friends! I’m sharing a 5 x 7 card featuring previously released Beautiful Wings Stamp and Die.

Many people believe that butterflies symbolize transformation, beauty, or rebirth. Seeing butterflies can often be a comfort to someone experiencing loss. I’ve always been drawn to butterflies, and making this card has a very special place in my heart.

 

I stamped and colored two Monarch Butterfly images from BeautifulWings stamp and die-cut the images.

For the background, I trimmed down a panel of pink cardstock and added pink dye ink to the edges of the panel. I used a floral embossing folder to add some texture to my background and arranged my images around the sentiment strip.

As a finishing touch, I added a handful of clear bauble embellishments across my panel.
