Wicked Vibes Spinner Card

Hey everyone, Britney here! I am so excited to be on the Pawsome Stamps blog today featuring the Wicked Vibes stamp set. It’s spook season, WITCHES!!!!! And I am so excited!

I always like to start with my background first and I build up from there. I used my some basic. Background dies to cut out three layers of cardstock. One the purple layer, I did a little tone on tone inking using the Tangled Web background stencil. I white heat embossed my sentiment before assembling my spinner, once all my ink was dry. I followed a tutorial by Jennifer McGuire on how to make the spinner part. Pop over to my Instagram to see a short video of the spinner in action.

Stamping an image and sentiment on the inside finishes the card off nicely. It is easier to stamp an image and/or sentiment on the inside of the card before adhering the card panel to the base. The bulk of the foam tape can make it difficult to get a good impression using a Misti Stamping tool. I stamped the inside of the card with images from the Wicked Vibes stamp set and a sentiment from the XL Halloween Greetings stamp sets. If you’ve seen my card before you know I used the XL Birthday Greetings stamp set on almost every one of my cards. These sets are staples in my opinion.

I used the Misti Stamping Tool and a Copic-friendly ink to stamp images onto a piece of smooth, white cardstock. Use your favorite color medium to color in the images. I prefer Copics usually. You can fussy cut the images or use the coordinating dies. I finished off my images using white pen to add some accents.

I love adding a lot of final details to a card to give it a little something extra. I added some Stickles to the bubbles in the cauldron. I hope you enjoyed today's card. Have a wonderful day and make sure to check out all the goodies in the Pawsome Stamps shop
