Hauntingly Sweet Halloween
Hey crafty friends! I’m on the blog today with a fun Halloween card inspired by the current color challenge.
For this card, I used the new Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes Stamp set, Candy Corn Dress Up stamp set, and previously released Hauntingly Sweet stamp set.
I began by creating the background first. Using green
cardstock, I die-cut the panel with a stitched rectangle die and ink-blended
the edges with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. Next, I cut purple cardstock with a
frame die and deepened the purple with Wilted Violet Distress Ink around the
edges of the frame. I splattered the background with white and green paint for
interest.
While the background was drying, I stamped and colored the images with my Copic Markers.
Copic Markers
Orange: YR07, YR16, Y38, Y35
Green: YG07, YG01
Brown: E29, E25, E23, Dot texture E49
Black: N9, N7, N5
White: C3, C1, C0
I used the coordinating dies for the images and arranged my spooky scene using liquid adhesive or glue dots! Lastly, I stamped the sentiment with black ink.
That’s all for me. I hope you’re inspired to jump into
the October Color Challenge and enter for a chance to win a gift card from the Pawsome
