Holiday Wreath

Hey everyone, Britney here! I am excited to be on the Pawsome Stamps blog today featuring the Holiday Wreath stamp set. I love Christmas wreaths and these are no different! This card was so easy to put together. The hardest part was the coloring.
I always like to start with my background first and I build up from there. I had a basic panel cut out of white cardstock which I used the Candy Cane Stripes Background Stencil to put on some red ink. I used a larger die to cut out the green background panel. I white heat embossed a sentiment from the set from a scrap of the matching green paper. I love how this set has matching dies for the sentiments.
Stamping an image and sentiment on the inside finishes the card off nicely. It is easier to stamp an image and/or sentiment on the inside of the card before adhering the card panel to the base. The bulk of the foam tape can make it difficult to get a good impression using a Misti Stamping tool. I used a sentiment from the Just Sentiments: Christmas stamp set.
I used the Misti Stamping Tool and a Copic-friendly ink to stamp images onto a piece of smooth, white cardstock. Use your favorite color medium to color in the images. I prefer Copics usually. You can fussy cut the images or use the coordinating dies. I laid out my image to get perfect placement and popped them up using foam tape. I finished off my images using white pen to add some accents.
I love adding a lot of final details to a card to give it a little something extra. I added some sparkle glaze to berries, Glossy Accents to the ornaments and candy canes, and a Agua Shimmer Pen to add glitter to different parts of the card. I do this last so I don’t smudge anything! I hope you enjoyed today's card. Have a wonderful day and make sure to check out all the goodies in the Pawsome Stamps shop
