It's Your Barkday!

Hey crafty friends! Can you believe that we are staring down the very end of 2023??!!! I don’t even know how that happened. I’m still trying to savor the last few days of the year and enjoy my winter break.

As the new year approaches, I’m inspired to create and replenish my stash of birthday cards to have on hand. I used an older set called Pawsome Birthday for this card to create a festive birthday card.

I stamped and colored the images with my Copic Markers, then die-cut the images with the coordinating dies.

Copic Markers
Dog: E29, E18, E39, E17, E15
Light Brown: E53, E51, E50
Pink: RV29, RV25
Gold: Y00, Y11, Y15, YR23

For the background, I die-cut a piece of light peach cardstock using a stitched rectangle die. Next, I ink-blended the edges of the panel with peach dye ink and then splattered the panel with white diluted paint.

Once the panel dried, I arranged my images onto the background panel and adhered everything down using liquid adhesive or popped up for dimension.

I embossed the sentiment onto a piece of pink cardstock, then trimmed it, leaving a small border. I finished the card by adding a few highlights with my gel pen.

That’s all for me. May the new year bring you peace, joy, and happiness. Until next time!
