Bear Christmas card with Olga
Hi crafty friends!
This is Olga Moss.
For my today's post I made this holiday card using new Beary Christmas stamp set.
And I can't wait to share it with you!
This bear is a big image, but nevertheless so easy to color. I know it can sometimes feel daunting to color so much, but take it one color at a time! I would go through the entire image with my reds first, then greens, then brown, on and on until the whole thing is done.
I wanted to put the bear in such a way that it seemed as if he was looking out of the window to us. So I found a suitable die shape from my stash.
For my backgrounds, I used ready-made paper with a Christmas theme print. I just love diagonal red stripes! Next I stamped a bear, covered it with the masking paper on top and blended Faded Jeans, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio and Antique Linen Distress Oxide Inks. Then I removed the masking paper from the bear and colored it using my Copic markers.
Then I placed the bear inside a golden frame that reminded me of the shape of a window. And put all the details in a card. The sentiment "from our home to yours" is from new Gingerbread Lane stamp set. To decorate the card I glued a red pompon in place of the bear's nose. Isn't that cute?
Hope you enjoyed today’s project!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
