Valentine's Macarons

Hello Friends, it's Carol here today! I'm sharing a sweet card using a beautiful stamp set called Macarons and this image is so pretty. 

The first thing I did was pull out some Distress Oxide inks in Kitsch Flamingo, Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade. I ink blended the entire background, then spritzed a little water to get that great distressed effect. I cut the panel down to 3.75 x 5 and then pulled out some super sparkly paper from my stash, cut it into strips and added them diagonally to my card panel.

For that sweet image, I used Copic markers, die cut it and added it onto the card front with foam squares. Next, I added the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment from the Sweet Cupcakes stamp set (I love it when you can mix & match stamp sets), added a few sequins from the Sweetheart sequin mix and that completed my card.
