May Your Birthday...

Hello Friends! It's Carol here today and I'm sharing my version of a Clean and Simple card using the fantastic Sangria Time stamp set. I don't know about you but now that summer is in full swing here in Florida, I'm ready for tasty tropical drinks!

For this card, I created an A2 top fold card base and stenciled the Rays of Sunshine right on top using yellow ink. Next, I stamped that HUGE pitcher of what I'm calling Carol's Pink Pitcher of Sunshine! I fussy cut the pitcher then added a little Copic coloring around the rim, handle and the top portion of the drink. 

So, a few weeks ago, I did some alcohol ink blending onto a few pieces of vellum. I didn't have a plan for them at the time, but I knew at some point I would use them and today was the day! I used a pencil and lightly outlined the inside of pitcher, cut it out and adhered it onto the pitcher. Next, I stamped that sweet strawberry, gave it some color, and added it inside my drink. And, how about that sentiment? It absolutely cracks me up!

Lastly, you know I had to add some bling! I thought it would be cool to add the Diamond Diva sequin mix into my drink to mimic glistening ice cubes. I also added a few more sequins around my card using the Sweetheart mix.

This card came together rather quickly and would be super easy to mass produce. I cannot recommend this stamp set enough. It's perfect for birthday's or any kind of celebration.
