Happy Sangria Birthday (4th of July inspired card)
Hello crafty friends! Silvia’s here today with a birthday card inspired by the 4th of July!
I started cutting a white panel. I then swipe some candied apple Distress Oxide ink over the “Rays of Sunshine" stencil, I sprayed with water, I pressed it on my panel and I dry with a heat gun. I did this a second time (with the remaining ink) and I also sprinkled some fired brick Distress embossing glaze here and there. I darkened edges with aged mahogany and ground espresso Distress Oxide inks and I splattered with clean water and white and gold Distress paints.
I stamped images from the "Sangria Time" stamp set on watercolor paper, I colored them with prize ribbon, faded jeans and tumbled glass Distress Spray Stain and I cut them with coordinating dies.
I also used evergreen bought Distress Spray Stain for the leaves and prize ribbon and villainous potion Distress Spray Stain for the berries.
I then used a star stencil from my stash, white texture paste and some glitters to add a bit of texture to my images. That's all.
Here are some close-ups.
Thank you so much for passing by, I hope you enjoy the card.
I wish you an amazing day and I send you big hugs and Summer vibes, Silvia.
Silvia, I adore this!
