Happy Halloween Scene Card

Hi crafty friends, and welcome back to the Pawsome Stamps blog. It’s Donna, and I’m excited to share a fun Halloween-inspired spooky scene card.

I wanted to make a larger card front for all of my images, so I decided to create a 5 x 7 card panel for this spooky scene.

To create the background, I grabbed several shades of teal paint, blue paint, and my gel printing plate. I added the darker shades at the bottom and worked my way towards the top with the lighter shades. Finally, I added sparkly green and white paint to create the eerie clouds then I set the panel aside to dry.

I stamped several images from the newly released Happy Haunting and Hauntingly Sweet stamp sets onto smooth cardstock and colored everything in with my Copic Markers.

Copic Color Combinations

Corn Candy Yellow: Y15, Y02, Y00
Orange: YR18, YR07, YR04, YR12
White: C3, C1, C0
Headstones: C5, C3, C1
Brown: E29, E27, E25, E23, E21
Black: N9, N7, N5
Green: YG67, YG05
Ghosts: BG10, Blender
House: W7, W5, W3, W9
Roof: BG78, BG75, BG72, E47, E44
Jack-O’-Lantern: YR18, YR04, Y35, G29, Y17, Y13

Once I colored the images, I used the coordinating dies to die-cut the images along with a couple of other elements.

I assembled the elements onto my card with foam adhesive, liquid glue, or glue dots. For finishing touches, I added accents with a white gel pen and added the embossed sentiment.

Be sure to visit the Pawsome Stamps shop to see all the new stamps and dies.

Have a fabulous weekend!
