Hello Fall Scene Card

Hi crafty friends, and happy Tuesday. It’s Donna, and I honestly can not believe that we are more than halfway through the month of September. Speaking of which, can you believe that the First Day of Autumn is just a couple of days away?

Autumn is my favorite season, but here in Florida, we don’t have the magnificent changes the other part of the country experience. So I did the next best thing and added all of the colors to my card.

I created the background first by ink blending Salvaged Patina and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink onto an A2 size panel of smooth cardstock. Next, I used a piece of chartreuse colored cardstock and added a little shading with Twisted Citron and Crushed Olive Distress Oxide ink before die-cutting it with a grassy hill border die.

Once I had the background done, I needed to work on the images. I stamped and colored images from the newly released Fall Sign stamp and the previously released Happy Camper stamp set. After coloring, I die-cut the images with coordinating dies.
