You’re the reason I smiled today

 Hi there! Silvia's here with you today with a card featuring one of my favorite stamp set from the latest release.

I started making my card cutting a strip of white paper with a deckle trimmer, I stamped the sentiment with black ink on top and I splattered with gold acrylic paint.

I then I heat embossed in gold the beautiful envelope with flowers from the new "Sending Hugs" stamp set on watercolor cardstock and I cut it with coordinating dies.

To color this image I used my beloved Distress watercolor pencils and I splattered with white and gold Distress paint.

I cut a pale yellow a patterned panel from my paper stash and I glued the white stripe in the center.

I then added the image on the bottom with foam tape for a bit of dimension, I put some sequins from the "Box of Chocolate" sequin mix here and there and that's all.
