Glad I Have a Friend Like You!!

 HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

Larissa here today to share a Sweet Dimensional Card using some Creative Die Cutting!! I LOVE being able to add Dimension to my Images and I hope you feel INSPRED to give this Technique a Try!! 

I Started by Inking a Card Panel with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink and then I Partially Die Cutting the Dragon Fly Images into the Card Panel!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment onto the Card Panel using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! 

Next, I Stamped and Embossed the NEW Beautiful Wings Stamp Set onto some Distress Watercolor Cardstock using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! 

I Colored the Images with Copic Markers!! 
Purple: V00, V04 & V09       Dark Teal: BG70, BG72 & BG78
Turquoise: BG10, BG45 & BG49       Grey: N0 & N3
Then I Die Cut the Images out using the coordinating NEW NEW Beautiful Wings Die Set and Die Cut the Image out!! I also added some White Gel Pen details to the Image for Highlights and added some Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter to the Purple Wings for some Iridescent Sparkle and I LOVE the way it dresses the Images up!! 

I added the Die Cut Dragon Flies onto the Card Panel Die Cut Images and then pushed the Wings up!! I then adhered a Dark Teal Cardstock Panel to the back of the Inked Card Panel and LOVE the Contrast it adds as you can see it from underneath the Images!! 

Then I finished off the Card with some Sequins from the Sparkling Mint Sequin Mix!! The Iridescent Sparkle coordinates with the Iridescent Chunky Glitter and adds the PERFECT amount of Sparkle!! I LOVE the Dimension of the Partially Die Cut Wings and how you can see the Cardstock Color underneath!! I hope this INSPIRES you to give this Technique a try on your next Card!!
