Happy Donut Days

Hi Friends! Emily Mydlowski here with you today sharing a sweet clean and simple one layer donut card using the BDay Cupcakes 4x8 stamp set.

If there’s a pink, teal or purple frosted donut in the pack I’m definitely grabbing one! For my card, I only colored the tops of the donuts letting the sugary pastel glaze take the cake.

To get started, I stamped the sentiment to a white A2 panel and stamped the donut images around the sentiment in a triangle pattern making sure some of the images are stamped off the panel to add depth and interest. I used an assortment of pink, teal and violet alcohol ink markers to color the donuts and then glazed & sprinkled them with Glossy Accents and Chunky Clear Glitter. To finish the card, I added teal and pink sequins from the Mint Chip & Mermaid Tail Sequin Mixes and adhered the panel to a pink card base.
