Sneak Peek Day 5: Hauntingly Sweet Candy Corn Dress Up Time!

Hi Crafty Friends! Emily Mydlowski here with you today sharing a Spooky Cute Sneak Peek Project using the adorable and soon to be released Candy Corn Dress Up Set with the previously released and equally adorable Hauntingly Sweet Stamp Set.

My first card mixes and matches several different stamps + stencils. The Mummy & Frankenstein Candy Corn are from Hauntingly Sweet and the Mad Scientist is making his debut in Candy Corn Dress Up. I loved the idea of pairing these Experimental Lab Characters with the “Let’s Brew Up Some Fun” sentiment from the the Witches Lair Add On. 

For the Eureka explosion background, I ink blended the top half panel with light green and dark purple inks and then added the Retro Confetti Background Stencil design with an iridescent gel paste. For extra dimension, I added sparks and bubbles using the Bad to the Bone Clay Embellishment Mix.

My second card was inspired by the Wizard of Oz, the new candy corn character making their debut is the Fairy Princess (or in this case the Good Witch) and the Witch + Cat (which is really Toto in disguise) is from Hauntingly Sweet. 

I used circle dies to create windows for the candy corn cuties and used the Candy Stripes stencil in Orange & Yellow Inks. I stamped the Trick or Treat sentiment from Candy Corn Dress Up in VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink and adhered each of the cuties to the center of the circle windows along with a star from a coming soon embellishment mix.
