Happy Spooktober!

Hi crafty friends! I’m back on the Pawsome Stamps blog, sharing a fun Halloween-inspired scene card.

If you’ve been following me, you know that I love to make scene cards, and for this one, I used the new Costume Pumpkins stamp and die set, as well as the Happy Camper stamp and die set and Happy Haunting stamp and die set.

I colored the image with my Copic Markers and then used the coordinating dies to die-cut the images.

Copic Markers

Pumpkins: E15, YR18, YR16, YR15, Y18, YG17, YG07, YG01
Witch Hat: YG17, YG07, YG03, YG00, FV2, BV02, B63
Bandages: E55, E53, E50
Moon: Y17, Y15, Y02, C3, C1
Clouds: B01, B00, B0000
Tree: E49, E77, E74, E71, Y13, YR23, YR24, YR27, YR18, E37
Graves: E47, E44, E43, E42

For the background, I used a stitched rectangle die to die-cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock, then ink blended the panel with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink at the top of the panel and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink at the bottom. I also trimmed a piece of green cardstock with a generic grass border die and added green dye ink to the bottom.

Next, I splattered the background and the grass die-cut with white paint and set them aside to dry.

After the panels were dry, I stamped the sentiment and arranged the images into a spooky scene. I used liquid adhesive or glue dots  and added a few highlights to the images with my white gel pen.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card, and don’t forget to visit the Pawsome Stamps shop to see all of the new Halloween or fall-inspired goodies. Have a wonderful week!
