Baked with Love Christmas Birthday Card

Hey everyone, Britney here! I am excited to be on the Pawsome Stamps blog today featuring a couple of different sets today in this holiday birthday card. I love how this card came together!!! Scene cards can seem intimidating but this one was so easy and came together so quickly.
I always like to start with my background first and I build up from there. I had a basic panel cut out of white cardstock which I used the Candy Cane Stripes Background Stencil to put on some purple ink. I used smaller rectangle dies to cut out color cardstock. I used a white pigment ink and the Snowflake Flurries Background Stencil to get my “wall paper” background. I cut a piece of patterned paper to serve as my countertop and stamped a sentiment from the Baked with Love stamp set.
I used the Misti Stamping Tool and a Copic-friendly ink to stamp images onto a piece of smooth, white cardstock. The images I used are from the Baked with LoveGingerbread Lane and Beary Christmas stamp sets. Use your favorite color medium to color in the images. I prefer Copics usually. You can fussy cut the images or use the coordinating dies.
Stamping an image and sentiment on the inside finishes the card off nicely. It is easier to stamp an image and/or sentiment on the inside of the card before adhering the card panel to the base. The bulk of the foam tape can make it difficult to get a good impression using a Misti Stamping tool. I used a sentiment from the Baked with Love and Macarons stamp set.
I laid out my images for the front of my card to get perfect placement and popped them up using foam tape. I finished off my images using white pen to add some accents. I love adding a lot of final details to a card to give it a little something extra. I used an Agua Shimmer Pen to add glitter to different parts of the card and black glaze pen to the eyes. I do this last so I don’t smudge anything! I hope you enjoyed today's card. Have a wonderful day and make sure to check out all the goodies in the Pawsome Stamps shop

  1. Before I forget...can you tell me where the winner of the IG hop is listed? I can't seem to find it. Second, this is an ADORABLE card. The bear baking gingerbread cookies is just too cute!!
