Season’s Greetings Circle Wreath Shaped Card

Hi Friends! Emily Mydlowski here with you today sharing a one layer circle wreath card using the gorgeous Holiday Wreath stamp set. Circle cards are one of my favorite card shapes for botanical images. This size card perfectly fits a standard square envelope and the wreath image is also a perfect fit!

I used two large circle nesting dies to create the card front panel and card base. For the card base, I partially die cut a folded square card base with a circle die that was just slightly smaller than the circle card panel.

I stamped the image with an alcohol safe ink to the circle card front. The I stamped the image to a piece of masking paper. After cutting out and applying the mask, I ink blended the background with dark green dye inks and added gold ink splatters. After removing the mask I used a matching Copic marker (G46) to fill-in some of the edges that didn’t get ink blended.

I colored the wreath images with an assortment of red, purple and green OLO Markers and white gel accents.

Greens: G 0.1, 0.4, 1.4, 1.7, 1.8

Purples: BV 4.2, 4.4, 4.5, 4.7

Reds: R 5.5, 1.5, 1.7, 1.8, 0.6

To finish the card, I added a gold heat embossed Season’s Greetings sentiment to the center of the wreath.

I hope you enjoyed my post today! Thanks for stopping by and Big Paper Hugs!
