Mini slimline floral card

 Hello, and happy New Year! Anna here with a mini slimline card, featuring florals from the Loving Thoughts stamp set. 

I started by stamping the floral from the Loving Thoughts stamp set twice on a piece of watercolor paper and colored it using my Daniel Smiths watercolors. I chose muted reds and blues to create a wintery color palette. After coloring I added white highlights and gold splatters, then used my scissors to cut out the florals and set them aside.

Next was to do the background. I masked off all the edges with masking tape and did a quick watercolor wash. I also added metallic gold splatters and stamped a greeting from Friendly Florals stamp set in the middle. 
I used foam squares to adhere flower clusters and cut off everything that was overhanging. I added a few sequins from the Rainbow Wishes sequin mix.
